Home is not a place, but a feeling

Choosing the Right Place to Call Home

Finding the right living environment is a significant decision — one where your loved one should feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

At Akerman Care, we specialise in providing high-quality supported living for adults aged 18–65 who are neurodivergent, have learning disabilities, and/or co-occurring mental health needs. We are fully CQC registered to provide personal care.

Our Filton Supported Living Home

A modern, calm, and thoughtfully designed environment.

Our first supported living property is located in Filton, South Gloucestershire — a purpose-built, high-specification semi-detached home for up to six adults. It has been designed not only to promote safety, independence, and comfort, but also to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.

  • A secure outdoor patio with artificial grass, ideal for low-maintenance, year-round use

  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating C, with enhanced insulation and energy-efficient fittings throughout

  • Designed as a zero carbon home, supporting lower utility usage and environmental sustainability
