Home is not a place, but a feeling

Choosing the Right Place to Call Home

Finding the right living environment is a significant decision — one where you and/or your loved one should feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

At Akerman Care, we specialise in providing high-quality supported living for adults aged 18–65 who are neurodivergent, have learning disabilities, and/or co-occurring mental health needs.

All properties include the following Key features:

  • Six private en-suite bedrooms, furnished to a high standard

  • Bright, well-equipped communal kitchens and lounge areas

  • A secure outdoor patio with artificial grass, ideal for low-maintenance, year-round use

  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating C, with enhanced insulation and energy-efficient fittings throughout

  • Designed as a zero carbon home, supporting lower utility usage and environmental sustainability

  • Double-glazed windows and LED lighting to reduce energy consumption

  • Efficient electric heating systems with zoned temperature control

  • Ultra-fast broadband with ethernet ports in every room and Wi-Fi access points throughout the house

  • Grade A fire alarm system, emergency lighting, and fire call points for maximum safety

  • Three off-street parking spaces for staff and visitors

This energy-conscious design not only helps minimise our carbon footprint but also supports a more stable and cost-effective living environment for residents. Lower energy usage means better comfort and reduced outgoings — aligning with our commitment to long-term, sustainable support solutions.
